Cyrus & Esther will host a special online event marking the third anniversary of the Hamas-led attacks on Israel.
The event will bring together researchers, legal experts, journalists, commentators and activists from different professional backgrounds to examine the events of that day and their continuing consequences for Israel, Jewish communities around the world, Iran and the wider Middle East.
The event will address the following subjects:
- 1Three years on: what the world must remember
- 2Israel’s right of self-defence: what does international law actually say?
- 3Hamas and the ethics of calling terrorism “resistance”
- 4The information war: how narratives are made, distorted and denied
- 5From conflict to online antisemitism: how a Middle East war reached Jewish communities worldwide
- 6Iranians and Israelis: two peoples, a shared challenge
The event will be held online and broadcast through X Spaces and other digital media platforms, allowing an international audience to join the discussion.
Further information about speakers, the programme and how to join will be announced by Cyrus & Esther.
