What we do

Four threads run through everything we're building, from education and dialogue to standing up for equality and supporting people rebuilding their lives.

Cyrus & Esther works to bridge gaps in understanding between Iranian, Jewish and wider communities, while addressing antisemitism, racism, religious intolerance and other forms of discrimination.

We also respond to the needs of refugees, asylum seekers and displaced people, particularly those from Iran, by supporting their education, integration and participation in society.

Cyrus & Esther works to combat antisemitism, racism and religious intolerance through practical community programmes.

Run workshops and training that help people recognise antisemitism, racism and hate, understand how they develop, and know how to respond when incidents occur.
Bring Jewish, Iranian and other communities together through facilitated discussions, events and joint projects that challenge prejudice and build stronger relationships between communities.
Train organisations, workplaces, community groups and public bodies to recognise and respond appropriately to antisemitism, racism and religious discrimination.
Create educational resources using real experiences and personal stories to show the impact of antisemitism and racism and challenge stereotypes and misinformation.
Support people who experience antisemitism, racism or religious discrimination by listening to their concerns, helping them understand reporting options and connecting them with appropriate specialist services.
Work with community organisations, councils, institutions and other partners to develop local projects that address antisemitism and racism and improve community relations.

Our aim is to move beyond simply raising awareness by giving people and organisations practical knowledge and tools to recognise, challenge and respond to antisemitism, racism and intolerance.
